Peanut and Dada played Go Fish today after dinner.

We had an eventful Saturday. It started with the kids playing outside in the morning. They traded Pokemon cards and ran around as usual.

Then it was time to go to Hudson’s 2nd birthday party. Peanut enjoyed making a mask with lots of glue and sequins.

Right after that party, we headed to Zoe and Maya’s house to celebrate Uncle Jimmy’s birthday. The girls played school, which included the little girls being the teachers and assigned the big girls some math problems.

Janie and Peanut also played a little tee ball outside.

This morning we rode the ferry to the city to catch the big sailing race held at the Marina Green.

There was a long walk from Pier 41 to the Marina Green but the kids did great!

At the event, there were games for Janie to play including Connect Four and Jenga. Peanut fell asleep once we arrived so he missed out on all the sailing and games.

He did wake up by the end and got to see the race boats getting ready to head back to their headquarters.

Before heading back, we stopped to get a bite to eat the Fisherman’s Wharf.

The kids had fun riding in the stroller together.

The long afternoons are so fun and the kids have been spending a lot of time outside.

Today, the bubbles came out and they had fun with the giant wands.

Peanut is making a full meal with play dough again!

Looks like spaghetti and meatballs!

Don’t forget to season with pepper!

Ethan came to play the playground today so they played with their trucks in the wood chips. So fun!

The neighborhood pool is open and heated! Janie is swimming all the way across the pool on her own now too! What a difference a year makes.

It’s fun to have all the cousins in one house. They all play together and have little conversations.

Here’s one of Peanut and Thomas outside with the remote-controlled car.

We all went to the California Academy of Sciences today!

They have a new dinosaur exhibit and the T-Rex really scared everyone.

Peanut got brave enough to take photos with the other dinosaurs.

They also climbed on top of one

Peanut also went searching for fossils in the sand.

The kids also enjoyed the aquarium downstairs and visited the touch tank.

On our way back from lunch, Toni, Thomas, AND Janie all got rides.

We also stopped for ice cream before heading back to Alameda.

The little kids had fun rolling around in the grass too.

It was an exciting day and everyone, including Auntie Jia, fell asleep on the drive back.

Today is Janie’s 7th birthday and it happened to fall on a Saturday! So, we celebrated on her actual birthday with Legos, Pokemon, smoked brisket and ribs, and cake.

We hired a group called Bricks4Kids to come and run activities for all the kids.

Mama also decorated the cake with Pokemon.

The kids all gathered around the table and sang “Happy Birthday”.

Janie also got to make the first cut in the cake.

She ended up with lots of presents and Ta called to sing “Happy Birthday” to her too.

What a fun party!
