Sometimes it’s hard being a soccer sibling. You have to sit around for at least 90 minutes while your older sibling is playing soccer. Today, Peanut and Maya entertained themselves with Pokemon cards.

The kids were digging around in the front and made a big puddle of mud. They also found a salamander living in our storm drain.

They couldn’t resist taking him out and placing him in their newly dug up “pond” for him.

Today is a Staff Training Day so there was no school. Jasper’s mom was nice enough to invite Janie over for the day so she didn’t have to go to Yu Ying. In the morning, Dada dropped her off and Jasper made a schedule for the day.

They built a fort and also played in the cardboard time machine that Jasper already had in the livingroom.

They also had some time at the playground that is located across from his house and she saw a familar face there – ZOE!

After lunch, they made a gingerbread Halloween house and decorated cookies.

On top of all these activities, Janie also got an introduction to coding on her iPad with Jasper and his dad. What a fun-filled day!

The boys next door came over to share/trade their Pokemon cards.

Today, we went to the California Science Center with all the cousins. There’s a cool aquarium area as well as a pretend play area but the thing that Peanut was looking forward to most was seeing the Space Shuttle up close!

He was pretty happy to see it but kept asking when it was going to blast off. He and Thomas were glued to the screen that showed the lift off on repeat.

Here’s Peanut giving a beaver a check-up in the pretend play area.

We love it when all 6 cousins get to play together!

We went to Liberty Park this morning. The kids played while the grown-ups ran around the track.

The lightsabers that the kids got from Uncle Johnny are really coming in handy this evening.

We met up at Jim’s by the golf course this morning to pick up the kids and the girls were still trading and playing together.

The kids are spending the night at Zoe and Maya’s house and the girls started trading Pokemon cards right away. Thanks to Uncle Jimmy and Auntie Eleen for taking them while Mama and Dada went to a concert in San Francisco.
