Watch us grow!

Janie made a card for Chris, the ferry crew guy, and included a photo of them together. She drew a picture of the ferry docked at the terminal with the passengers, dock, and even some Clipper card sensors. Her favorite part of riding the ferry was when he used to say “See ya later, Alligator” and she would reply with “Toodaloo, Kangaroo”.

After their shower, the kids sat down and read stories together before bed.

We made cardboard guitars this evening and Peanut was so excited!!
He picked it up and started strumming like he knew what he was doing.
Janie also joined in on the fun and drew the strings on her cardboard and cut out a paper pick too!

They gave some performances this evening on their two-level stage. Peanut played guitar and also was the lead vocal with a microphone.

Every once in a while, Peanut gets some alone time to play with all the toys. It’s nice to see him playing without the distraction of big sister trying to boss him around or changing the activity all the time. This morning, he played Magna Tiles and made a big road and a house on his own.

Then he pulled out the Octopod and helped Kwazii go to sleep in his bed and pulled the animals up in the net. His play skills have gotten more sophisticated these past months.

He then pulled out the cash register and could identify the number 5 on the red button and made the coins go in, out, and down.

He also thought it was funny to hold the coin between his toes. Silly boy.

The kids started their week with Yai and Ta taking them to school.
On the van ride to school, they sang a little song together complete with fake guitars and all.

We caught Janie reading stories to her brother today all on her own this evening.

This guy loves raspberries and they’re even more fun when you eat them off your fingers!
