It’s great to see Peanut enjoying the same books that Janie loved a couple years ago.
Peanut also turns 3 1/2 today!
Holiday Program
Peanut had his Holiday Program today and did his best to sing out loud but the two ladies up front definitely stole the show. So funny!
Brown Bear
Peanut worked on an activity based on the Brown Bear book that he loves. He’s also learned how to sing the song in Spanish too!
Nervous
Janie had a response to Mama’s note this morning. I guess she’s still a little nervous about swimming in the ocean.
T-Y-L-E-R
Peanut is so proud that he can spell his name. He’s also very close to writing it too! Just needs work on the R.
Learning
Our little boy is learning and doing more each day. Mama is relieved that he enjoys coloring and drawing like his big sister. His grasp is looking really good on the crayon.
He’s also super excited to know how to spell is name. He’s pretty close to writing it too!
Morning Ceremony
It was Janie’s class’ turn to lead morning ceremony. They said the pledge of allegiance and then sang a patriotic song.
Dinner for Mama’s Birthday
After swim, we celebrated Mama’s birthday at a Japanese restaurant nearby. The last time we had teppanyaki, Peanut was only 5 months old and dprobably slept through most of the show.
Today, he had a good view of the cooking and got a little scared of the fire.
Janie got a giant plate of shrimp and veggies, which she loved.
We got a family photo at the end of the meal, which is rare for us lately.
For dessert, we walked across the street to CREAM for ice cream. Yum!
On our walk back to the car, Peanut serenaded Mama with “You Are My Sunshine”.
Journal
This morning, Mama volunteered in Janie’s classroom and she got to read some of her journal entries to her.
Reading to Brother
I love catching Janie doing Big Sister stuff all on her own.
