I love how circle time makes them sit, share, and interact with each other.
Yellow Day
Lunar New Year Eve
Every year, we celebrate the new lunar year with Rowan, Isla, Jack, and Reese. This year, we met up for dinner in San Francisco Chinatown.
We also take a photo of all the kids together every year.
After dinner, we hand out red envelopes to all the kids and the amounts get a little more as they get older.
Happy Year of the Dog from this dragon and ram!
Fun at School

Looks like Peanut had gym class, played in the sandbox, and had fun with paper tubes.

Outside with Friends

Janie went outside with markers and paper and ended up bringing down her table and chairs to have some drawing time with Gavin. Collin and Peanut joined in a little later and they all were so cute at the table together.

We love our neighborhood and friends!

Thursday

Thursdays look extra fun. They get music with Mr. Chris and then go for their nature walk.

Stories Together

I just love it when I catch these two doing something together on their own. The webcam was one of the best purchases we’ve made lately.
Fun at School

It’s Thursday so the kids went out for their Nature Walk again!

Of course there was time in the sandbox and then Peanut decorated his pumpkin.

TWO!

For the longest time, this was Peanut’s only way of making the number 2 with his fingers.

He saw Janie making the sign with one hand and wanted Mama to help.

With some help, he was able to hold two fingers up and proudly said “TWO!” at the dinner table.
Crab and Boba

It’s Friday evening and Dada was home early enough to go out for crab tonight!

Peanut was a little grouchy but still managed to eat his weight in Spam, fries, and pork.

After dinner, we went next door for bubble tea. The kids shared what they called a “smoothie”, which was actually lychee snow with mini boba.

Janie had boba once before and loved the extra small ones today.

Peanut tried it for the first time and was hooked! It was good lesson on sharing for the both of them this evening.
