It’s President’s Day and Janie was invited over to Jasper’s house for the day.
Looks like they had a busy day filled with playing inside and outside.
Watch us grow!

Back at the cabin, Zoe and Maya had arrived and settled in. We had dinner together and then played games before bed.
The kids wore matching Christmas pjs and Janie even read stories to everyone!
Merry Christmas!! We all dressed up in matching pajamas this year!
Cousins came over early in the morning to exchange/open gifts!
Then we headed over to Toni and Thomas’ house to start the standing rib roast and make s’mores outside in the patio.
Janie helped out by peeling all the potatoes. Ankong helped keep the trashcan lid open.
It was fun watching all the kids play together.
All the kids got a new toy called a Springling. All had a different animal that comes with a spring-loaded container. They got really creative with how they played with them.
As expected, the kids were up super early and so were Yai and Ta. So we took a walk around the village and found Lappert’s open and serving coffee and bagels.
Then we walked to the beach and played in the water and sand while the sun came up.
Once Dada woke up, we headed out to the lagoon.
We rented a stand-up paddle board and gave it a try. It was surprisingly easy and even the kids went out on their own.
Next stop was the Paradise Pool where they had a couple water slides.
Dada and Uncle Jamie went off property to pick up a bunch of Spam musubis for everyone to eat for lunch. The kids loved them and probably tasted even better by the pool!
Then it was time for Peanut to take a nap and he was able to fall asleep in the stroller as soon as we started moving. In the meantime, the girls continued to swim and then we met up for ice cream.
For dinner, we walked to Ala Moana Shopping Center to try out Shirokiya Japan Village Walk. It’s a huge Japanese food court complete with all the different foods you would want to eat.
They also had a bunch of toy machines that started at $1/piece. Yai bought a token for Peanut and he scored a Pokemon badge.
It’s Veteran’s Day and with Mama at work and no school, Janie was invited to Jasper’s house for the whole day again. When she arrived, there was an agenda and then they were off!
They went to the playground again (across the street from his house).
They did some coding on their iPads.
After lunch, they made chocolate chip cookies and then went outside again while they cooled.
It looks like they had a lot of fun again!
Today, Team Spain had their last game of the season. Janie did a great job as goalie (that’s her making the save) and almost scored at goal!
She had a lot of hustle and good footwork today.
After the game, the team met up at Linguini’s for a pizza party. Coach Henon also handed out trophies to all the girls.
Peanut sat with his buddy Evan while he ate his lunch.
We also got a cute photo of Zoe and Janie together. It was fun having Uncle Jimmy as our assistant coach this season!
As a special treat, Mama and Auntie Eleen walked Janie, Zoe, Peanut, and Aliya to the game store down the street. They have Pokemon card dispensers there!
For 75 cents, you can get 5 Pokemon cards from the machine. So fun!
We are so proud of our big girl. It was her first time playing on a soccer team and she made some big improvements throughout the season. She was also selected to play in the All-Star game in December but we will be in Hawaii that day. It’s too bad she won’t get to play but we still couldn’t be any prouder.
Peanut got to do the calendar board today and also had fun leading his classmates in a silly game.
Janie went to Emma’s birthday party today. It was a spa day for the little ladies. Janie arrived a little late but also didn’t want to do the face masks. She did, however, get her nails painted.
Meanwhile, Peanut took a big nap while she was away.
Uncle Jason and Auntie Jia drove up today and the kids had so much fun eating dinner and dessert together.
Then it was a cousin slumber party in their bedroom.
They played Octonauts and then a game of Zingo.
Then they gathered around for stories. Janie did a great job reading to them.
It took them a while to settle down and fall asleep but overall they all did well.
The kids did a lot of sweeping out front this morning and then took a break outside with a snack.
Peanut later took a nap on the couch in the middle of all of the laundry piles.
