I love this video. Not only is Peanut drinking water from his straw cup with gusto but he and his sister are sharing some giggles together.
Saturday afternoon
Peanut got a snack this afternoon and Yai had to pull his hair back. This hairstyle makes him look just like Janie when she was his age.
Alice also came over after her nap and the girls did a little coloring before they got into an argument about putting them away. *sigh*
little lessons
Today, Janie learned what it takes to teach her little brother something. She rolled the ball to him and he didn’t catch it the first time. So she said “he can’t do it.” We had to coach her on doing it over and over again until he gets it. At that point, she lost interest and moved on to something else. Oh well. We’ll try again later.
head tilt
This evening as he was eating prunes, he was giving Mama a cute little head tilt. After a while it became more of a cute little whole-body tilt.

This evening, Janie “shared” her Duplos with her little brother. This involved giving Peanut one of the Duplos and then playing with the rest of them.
Feeding Brother

Janie has been asking to feed her little brother for a couple months now. This morning, she was my little helper with feeding him snacks. The first lesson was knowing when he was ready for another one. If it was up to her, she’d keep stuffing his mouth one at a time.

Instead, she learned how to watch him chew and move his mouth and then checking inside to make sure he had finished the first one she gave. I love seeing Peanut’s face light up when he sees his big sister.
keeping him company
Janie did a great job keeping Peanut company this evening while Dada was making dinner. She’s been such an awesome big sister.
playing together
Peanut started out in the middle of the floor on his own.
Eventually, he ended up in his corner digging around in the toy box.
Later Janie came around to help him get some new toys out and they played together. Love watching them.

Mirian said these two were playing well together today.

Mama was taking a nap in the bedroom when she heard this little guy cracking up.
