Outside

IMG_5639

I love that this guy gets lots of time outside just being a kid. Check out the bubbles he’s blowing!

He’s also getting lots of exercise on those riding toys. They have a little track that goes along the perimeter of the play yard and the kids all follow each other.

Busy Morning

While Mama went to an appointment in the morning, Peanut went to school and did quite a lot before lunch/nap time.

He did some gluing with the class.

And there was outside time.

After lunch, he went down for his usual nap and had to be woken by Mama a little early in order to get to Big Sister’s graduation in the city. Initially, he didn’t want to wake up but when he was asked “you wanna go see KK?” he sat up and said “yah”.

Monterey Bay Aquarium

We had such nice weather today! Mama even spotted whales out in the distance.

We also headed back to the aquarium after lunch to see more of our favorite exhibits.

This one was a big hit with both kids. It’s funny that Janie was terrified of this just two years ago.

Pool

IMG_4845

It was really hot today so we went to the pool before lunch. Peanut started out in his floatie ring.

IMG_4848

Then we put on his floatie vest and started walking into the water on his own.

Eventually it became more like a fall in or semi-jump in.

Regardless, I think he’s overcome any fear of the water and had a great time.

Walk Home

IMG_4817

Mama picked up Peanut at school after her run so he had to walk home. It took about 25 minutes to get home but he was able to walk the whole way. He also insisted on wearing his backpack and carrying his lunch bag on his own.
