I’d say about 75% of the photos we get from school are of Peanut riding the crazy car or a tricycle. This guy loves riding toys.

Janie achieved her first swimming goal and got a ribbon. It was for “willingly submerging head” underwater. She did more of that today too. Ta captured some of it on video for us.

This week, she achieved the second goal of doing a back float.
The teacher was even able to let go of her for a couple seconds!

I’m just happy that she’s finally enjoying swimming class. She is getting more and more comfortable in the water and her instructor said that she should be able to move quickly through this class if this keeps up. Our “nervous beginner” is getting braver every week.

This school really knows how to keep these kids active and busy!

Peanut’s Thursday started out with music time with Mr. Chris.

Then they went for their weekly nature walk down to the lagoon.

They found ducks swimming around.

He also rode the tricycle around and around.

After nap, Mama picked him up and took him to swim class. He enjoyed it for the most part but still doesn’t like floating on his back.

Peanut went to school today and he was back to his old self.

This morning, we went to G&M Farms for some pumpkin fun with friends.

Each family had a red wagon and Janie had fun picking out pumpkins.

There was a tennis ball shooting range that Janie and Sophie tried out with their dads.

There was a mini hay bale maze for the littles.

The popcorn pool was super fun too!

Janie rode one of the ponies around and around while Peanut watched from the fence.

The kids got measured at the pumpkin ruler.

The best part was riding the cow train. It goes really fast and they have a bunch of bumpy hills too.

There was so much to do and see at this farm.

This was the best we could do for a group photo of the kids.

Happy Fall!! This pumpkin patch gets an A+!

This afternoon was Janie’s swim lesson. Dada took her and she wore her new pink goggles.

She went into the pool very easily today and did almost all the things that the instructor wanted her to try. The only thing she refused was to put her head underwater.
Peanut attended his make-up swim class this morning with Mama. He didn’t want to give the instructor high-fives but did all the other activities in the class. The most surprising part was despite his reluctance to even be in the water, he LOVED jumping into the water into Mama’s arms. He did it over and over again until class was over. A nice lady took a video for us.

Today was Peanut’s first official swimming class. It’s on Thursday afternoons. Unfortunately, Mommy thought it was at 3:30 when it was really at 3:00. We got there at 2:51 and hung out thinking we were early. But no, we got into the pool at 3:30 only to have someone tell us that it was at 3:00pm. Luckily we got a make-up class scheduled for Saturday morning.

We are just happy that he didn’t cry when we went into the pool today even if it was only for a few minutes.
