Look at this guy…he’s so fun-loving and happy. Yet, he has a sensitive side too. The teachers found him snuggling the little baby doll today at school.
We had a quiet Sunday at home today. The kids spent much of the day playing together outside doing various activities like making grass soup and riding their scooters around.
We went to swimming once again today. I’m happy she looks forward to swimming lessons. Crazy how things are so much different from when we first started.
Today, she practiced her back float. She’s getting better!
Peanut was watching Janie while she was working on her reading app. Not sure why he was in that position but maybe he was inspired by all the Olympics we’ve been watching.
We visited Tilden Park today and it was Peanut’s first time! Our first stop was Little Farm and we made sure to bring plenty of celery this time around.
The last time we were here, Janie was around the same age and she was terrified of the cows. This time, she was super excited to feed them and did a great job getting up close.
Peanut was a little hesitant at first but once he saw what his big sister was doing, he loved it!
We also saw some chickens, geese, goats, and sheep.
The farm also has a pig and piglets too!!!
Our next stop was the steam train. Peanut was having the best time and it was the best $9 we spent for the family in a while.
The train takes you on a ride through the redwoods and has a tunnel too.
Peanut enjoyed it so much that he wanted to go again and cried when we said we had to go home. Instead we watched it leave with the next batch of people and he was able to give the train a proper goodbye.
