On Peanut’s first ride down the big slide a couple days ago, he cried a little and yelled “too fast!”. This time, he came down and yelled “I didn’t cry!” He also ended up going again two more times today.
Rain and Sun

We had off-and-on rain today at the beach. It would quickly change from sunny skies to pouring rain in less than a minute! The rain didn’t stop us from playing in the sand and the ocean though.

Here’s a funny one of Peanut falling of his face in the sand.
The kids had such a fun time floating around in the ocean.

In this photo, you can see the sky split between sun and rain.
Here’s a video of the kids playing in the pouring rain.

For lunch, we ate at Rum Fire. The kids eat free and also enjoyed a refreshing POG drink. Peanut was so pleased with his cherry on top.

Afternoon at the Beach
Morning at the Pool

We spent the whole morning at the hotel pool. Now that the kids are so comfortable in the water, it was fun capturing them on video with the GoPro.
The big slide was a big hit again today.
The little slide was fun too.
Peanut also let Daddy throw him up in to the air.

It was fun to have Auntie Amy, Uncle Jay, Amelia, and Ellie at the same hotel too. They joined us in the middle of the morning and the kids had so much fun together.
Janie also learned how to dive for toys. In this video, Ellie pushed the shovel down with her feet and Janie dove down to retrieve it and even swam under her legs.
Swimming Pool and Slide

After our late lunch, we checked in to our hotel room on the 21st floor and changed into our swimming suits. It was time to go for a swim!
Janie conquered her fear of the Big Slide on our first day back to the Sheraton.
Peanut also gave it a try and said it was “too fast!”
Janie got pretty good at taking the GoPro down the slide with her and was having a great time on the slide.
Kung Fu and iPad
Another ribbon!

Immediately after disembarking the ferry, we hopped into the minivan and drove straight to Aquatech for Peanut’s lesson. When we checked in, he was given his first ribbon for meeting one of the goals for his Seahorse class! Cool!

Back at home, he decided to work on his backfloat in the bathtub. Funny boy.
Pufferfish!
Kung Fu

This morning Sifu taught Janie’s class and really challenged her strength and balance. He tested out her horse stance by sitting on her lap and then having her hold it with beams over arms.
Here she is with her routine. She might be ready for her belt test soon.

After kung fu class, we stopped at the grocery store nearby and the kids had fun riding under the basket.
