Watch us grow!
It’s Auntie Eleen’s birthday so we offered to take Zoe and Maya for the afternoon. It later turned out to be a big kid party at Uncle Ian’s house with Dada and Uncle Ian doing all the cooking.
The big girls did some origami and the littles played Street Fighter.
After dinner, all the kids joined in to play Just Dance on the Nintendo Switch.
This afternoon, Mama brought Peanut and Janie to the PT program at Samuel Merritt so the graduate students can practice giving some fit tests. Janie did a great job while Peanut needed a little time to warm up before he was really into the activities. For being the “test kids”, they got to bring home a set of badminton rackets and shuttlecocks.
It’s Day 3 of “make-up weekend” and the kids powered through their second day straight of kung fu.
Peanut also had a swim make-up and got a little loopy by the end of the day.
Our Peanut is finally giving the Strider a try. It’s a balance bike that Janie learned on but he’s been resistant since the scooter is so much faster and easier.
Looks like he’s getting the hang of it.
We are on our way back to Soda Springs for Day 2! This time, Janie is getting her first lift pass to ride the Green Run with Dada!!
Peanut is excited to be back at Planet Kids with Mama.
It’s a much sunnier day today so we bought the kids some snow goggles.

Meanwhile, Dada took Janie up a real ski lift for the first time!! So exciting!

Peanut did some snowboarding too but then had some fun playing with the snow too.
What a fun day in the snow!
We got up early this morning and drove up to Truckee.
The kids were still in their PJs and put on their snow gear when we arrived at the snow park.
There was so much snow and more coming down in flight fluffy balls that looked like styrofoam.
Peanut was so tired by the afternoon and fell asleep on an inner tube.
At the end of the day, we had some tasty ice cream.
Peanut had a make-up kung fu class today and there were only 4 kids in the class! We should do this more often!
A mini Bruce Lee climbed up into Mama and Dada’s bed after bedtime. Go back to bed!!
