Peanut brought his Strider to Janie’s soccer practice today and enjoyed going down the little hill on the sidewalk.
To the Market
This morning, the kids were up early so we went to Safeway to pick up food for breakfast. Janie rode her skateboard and Peanut rode his Stider the whole way there.
This is how we stored them while we shopped.
The kids did a great job on their respective modes of transportation and it was just the right pace for a Mama that had to carry the groceries home on foot.
Belt Ceremony
Peanut received his yellow belt today.
Janie also received her green belt!

First Soccer Practice
Janie had her first soccer practice today and had a good time!
We are officially a soccer family!!
Double Belt Test!
Janie had her 3rd belt test today.
Peanut had his 1st belt test too!
We’re so proud of both of them.
We celebrated with a spaghetti lunch at Trabocco! Yay!
Ready to Test
This afternoon, Sifu deemed the kids ready to take their belt test. This will be Peanut’s first test after only 1 month in the white-black class and Janie will be taking her 3rd test. Way to go kids!
First Day of 2nd Grade
It’s the first day of 2nd grade and our baby got her wish to ride her bike to school.
She’s in Room 33 again and has Ms. Bliss for a second year in a row. It wasn’t much of a change for her with all the same kids in her class too.

Looks like there was MagnaTile Party at Uncle Jason’s house tonight.
Swimming
The kids all went swimming together today. Uncle Johnny was in charge of all 6 kids in the pool!!
Fighting Sifu Sam
Janie was sparring with Sifu and gave him a mean uppercut on accident. He was a good sport about it but it really took him by surprise. Sorry Sifu!
