Watch us grow!
This evening, we went to Lawry’s for dinner to celebrate Mama and Uncle Johnny’s birthday. Everyone cleans up so nicely.

Everyone enjoyed some prime rib and all the sides.
It was so nice to have the whole family together at one of our favorite restaurants of all time.
We also went out for dessert at milk bar.
We couldn’t resist not following this request. 🙂
Janie went to pick up Alice from school today.
Meanwhile, Peanut stayed with Yai to get a manipure and pedicure. Haha.
It’s Daddy’s Birthday today and Peanut made him a birthday card! He drew balloons and added some ocean stickers.
He also wrote “I love you Dada” and signed his name. When Mama asked if which name he wanted to sign, he chose “Peanut”. Haha.
After swim and dinner, we sang “Happy Birthday” and enjoyed desserts that Mama bought at Bouchon Bakery earlier today.
Today, Peanut had no school and Mama was off. Janie had to go to school so we dropped her off and then helped out the teacher by making a bunch of photocopies.
Then, we went to the Oakland Zoo for a Mama and Peanut day of fun!
He was most excited about riding the gondola.
We saw the black bear up close as sh was eating breakfast.
We got to ride the train and found ourselves faced with a potential runaway wallaby at the gate.
Peanut also rode the cars and the plane ride that he’s now tall enough to ride.
On our way home, we met up with Auntie Eleen and Maya (who also had no school today). We had a big spaghetti lunch and then went home for a nap.
At the end of the day, we picked up Janie from AIK and she was so happy to show Peanut around.
Janie had her first soccer practice today and had a good time!
We are officially a soccer family!!
Peanut is working on his reading book with Dada. He enjoys it but sometimes too much. Dada also needs a lot of patience.
It’s the first day of 2nd grade and our baby got her wish to ride her bike to school.
She’s in Room 33 again and has Ms. Bliss for a second year in a row. It wasn’t much of a change for her with all the same kids in her class too.

The kids are back at Yai and Ta’s house for one more day before flying home. So Leela and Alice came over and they walked to Tutti Frutti for some frozen yogurt. So fun!
