The kids helped Dada make pizza dough today.

It’s Thursday and Mama has the day off to document what the family has been doing at home. Peanut helped Dada make waffles this morning.

Janie had her 9:30am Zoom meeting with her teacher and classmates.

Peanut did some of his Kindergarten workbook and then made a mailbox for his room.

The kids made a couple more Easter eggs for the window.

They also played with kinetic sand outside in the patio.

Janie’s friend across the greenbelt also came by and left her an early birthday message on the sidewalk outside our house. So sweet.

We went for an afternoon family run. Peanut didn’t last too long so it was a good thing we brought the jogging stroller along. We like this back route because it’s not as crowded.

Dada used Peanut as extra weight while doing some squats this morning.
Auntie Jia sent us this video of Janie reading to her cousins.

This afternoon, the kids rode their bikes while Mama and Dada ran with them. Peanut is getting really good at riding his bike. He just needs a little more practice with getting started on his own.

It’s Peanut’s third day at home with Dada and Janie. Today, they had leftover Chinese food for lunch.

Janie also had an art class led by the art teacher at Yu Ying. She learned how to draw an octopus and Bulbasaur.

Peanut did a reading lesson in his book today. Today, he had to practice writing the letters “c” and “d”.

He also drew a truck and mini truck being pulled by the bigger truck. Mama helped him write “BEEP BEEP!”

Leela called Janie from Yai’s house today.

Janie’s friend, Maya, from the neighborhood came by while she was riding her bike. They were able to say “hi” to each other from a distance.

We had dinner with Uncle Jason, Auntie, Jia, Toni, and Thomas this evening.
“Push-up time!”
One of Janie’s tasks each day will be to take 1-2 photos of her day at home and send them to Mama via text with a comment.
This was her first one:

“Look what we had for dinner tonight! It is one of my favorite dinners.”
