We arrived late last night and the kids stayed at Yai and Ta’s house while the movers unloaded.

When it was all done, we all went out to dinner at Sizzler. That’s how we do it in SoCal!
Watch us grow!

The day as arrived! The movers came at 8am this morning and started taking things away to the truck. They worked very quickly and the truck was stuffed.

Maya came to hang out and stayed until we drove away. It was so sad.

It’s our last evening in Alameda together so we had dinner at one of our favorite places, Trabocco. We’ve celebrated so many occasions here and the chef has always been so gracious to us.

We made it! The year of Zoom, Google Classroom, crazy schedules, 2-hour classroom instruction, and masks is over. Hellooooooo Summer!

We had an impromptu belt test for Peanut today. He went to his last class and Sifu knew we were moving so he tested him early (and didn’t charge the usual fee!)
All I wanted was for him to test and pass without the green belt given to him but Sifu Sam insisted on the full test and ceremony. We will miss this place and all the sifus there.

We also recreated a photo that we took 3 years ago when they first started.

Look how cute they were back in 2018!

Just as KK did a video of her SF home, we had Peanut give us a tour of his Alameda home.

There are only a few days of school left and the kids are pros at using Zoom now.

During class, everyone sang “Happy Birthday” to all the June and July birthday kids in the class.

The kids were playing with bubbles in the driveway today. We managed to capture the moment Maya popped a bubble.

Peanut looks so comfy in his big sister’s old pjs.

KK and Peanut made balloon swords and even a holster. So funny!
