Watch us grow!

We brought out big sister’s zoli cup today and this little boy went to town on it. I’m amazed at how quickly he learned how to use the straw and how independent he’s gotten with picking up and holding the cup himself. He is truly motivated to drink. This kid LOVES water.

Peanut loves cantaloupe!

I love this video. Not only is Peanut drinking water from his straw cup with gusto but he and his sister are sharing some giggles together.

Today, Peanut figured out how to suck through a straw!! It helps to have his big sister’s old training straw cup. He figured it out on his 3rd try!

This little guy was not satisfied with his carrot. He wanted something in his belly!

So, Yai hooked him up with some apple sauce that Mama had just made. Ah…hungry hippo is happy again.

This is easily becoming one of our favorite neighborhood restaurants. Janie saw the entrance and ran straight for it on her way home and said “let’s go eat black pasta!” We actually didn’t get it this evening. Instead, we had mushroom pizza and pasta with clams.

Peanut got some tasty pizza crust and gnawed on it until he dropped it on the floor.

Nom nom nom…

What a fun dinner!

It was also Opening Day for the Giants and the manager, Bruce Bochy, came in for dinner with his family. They sat right next to us and I got a cameo of him in the background of a photo I took of Peanut. He’s the older gentleman seated at the next table. Baseball is officially back in our neighborhood!

The kids have breakfast together every morning now.

Peanut loves watching her sister and they’ve starting interacting a lot more.

Here they are doing a wiggle dance together. So cute.

This little boy is an expert snacker now. He knows that something is headed his way once he gets strapped into the highchair.

He loves his puffs and yogurt drops and has gotten very good at picking the up and popping them in his mouth.

This morning, we headed to LAX for our flight back to SF. In Yai’s car, there’s lots of room for the two car seats and Mama in the back.

We had lunch at the airport and the kids hung out together before it was time to board.

The plane wasn’t full so we scored a seat for Peanut. We buckled him in, tied up some toys to his lap belt, and gave him plenty of snacks to keep him occupied.

He also learned how to shake his head side to side.

Once we landed, we took the monorail to the BART station and hopped on.

Both kids fell asleep on this leg of our journey and Dada had to carry Janie onto the Muni train when we got to Embarcadero Station. This still beats driving up Interstate 5!!
