This afteroon, we had an early dinner at Momo’s. They have a pretty good happy hour with $1 oysters and $5 pizza!

Vivian’s Birthday Party
This afternoon, we drove to Lafayette to celebrate Vivan’s 3rd birthday. We arrived early so the kids played at the playground just outside of the gym.
Janie and Peanut enjoyed the firetruck the most.

The party took place inside a kid’s gym. All the kids had a blast climbing, jumping, swinging, and crawling.

Peanut spent some time with Sabrina on the rocking dome. Both were a bit unsure of all the movement.
The big girls tried the trapeze swings and had a fun time swinging, hanging, and crashing on the mat.

The party continued next door in the party room. Auntie Stephanie made some tasty food and everyone got a cupcake!
After the party was over, we hung out at the playground a bit longer.

This morning, everyone was all smiles. What a nice way to start the day.
Before Mama left for work, the two kids sat together having their morning breakfast and snack.
Big Sister was in charge of handing Little Brother more puffs.

Peanut figured out how to pop his puffs into the air (and onto the floor). At first I thought it was an accident but he kept doing it again and again.

We had a 5:30 reservation at a new restaurant by our house. We headed out early so we could hang out at The Yard beforehand. Janie lounged on one of the inflatable couches with her snack while Peanut cruised and explored.
At the restaurant, Peanut had peas for the first time.

Janie had lots of crab and really liked the tiny fish eggs that they put on the ceviche. This was our dessert – bread pudding and ice cream!
We all played a game of tag/chase on the way home. It was a good way to burn off a delicious dinner.
Ramen and Costco
This afternoon, we had lunch at the usual food truck park across from Costco and we all had some tasty ramen.
At Costco, Peanut was showing off his bottle-holding skills and drank one-handed today.
This is what our typical shopping trip looks like nowadays. Janie likes to sit in the basket and arrange all our items around her.
Daddy also showed her a new trick. There’s a big ramp that everyone likes to ride down on the shopping cart.
On her first ride, she was already trying out some new moves.
