Watch us grow!
Our Peanut is becoming such a big boy. This afternoon, he was enjoying a seat in his big sister’s chair.
Then he got really comfy and enjoyed playing with big sister’s flashlight too while she was still at school.
And here’s a photo of him taken by his big sister. Janie made it black and white on purpose and said “it’s camouflage!”
For lunch, we went to Fish and Janie got some tasty clam chowder with oyster crackers.
Peanut napped through the first half of lunch and then woke up for some of Mama’s halibut and french bread.

We woke up early this morning and headed to Muir Woods for the first time. They opened at 8 am and we were there early enough to get a parking spot in their lot and free admission.
What a was nice about getting there early was that it was nice and cool and super empty!
Janie brought her camera and had a fun time exploring and taking pictures of all the things that she found interesting.
She took lots of selfies too including this photo of her with Mama and Dada. Peanut was sleeping so he didn’t get included.

By the time we finished the trail, the sun came out in full force and so did the crowd. We stopped for a snack at the Visitors Center and Peanut woke up for his snack – a tuna sandwich!
Janie got a pressed penny for doing such a good job on our mini hike and waiting until the end for a snack since food was not allowed on the trails.
Peanut also got to stretch his legs and explore the area.
The carved bears were pretty cool!
Peanut is not quite walking on his own yet but he does a pretty good job walking with a little help.He looks so pleased with himself.
What a fun morning walk in the woods!
We had to go to Home Depot this evening so we had dinner at Chipotle nearby. Dada ordered Janie her very own kid’s meal, which had all her favorites separated in a special tray.
Before bed, the kids actually played together and got along for the most part.
Peanut has learned how to clink his cup with us. He practiced with big sister this evening.
He also started stacking his pears on top of his cup. This kid is learning new things all on his own.
Mama left early for class and the kids had a little picnic for breakfast in the hotel room.
After their morning naps, the gang headed out to the Great Mall for lunch. It’s funny to see the contrast in self-feeding skills in these two.
On the way to pick up Mama, both kids fell asleep and slept all the way home too. It’s a good thing since it was an hour-long drive back to SF.
Dada was on his own with the kids this weekend while Mama was taking a class in San Jose. After soccer, they went back home and he made them PBJ sandwiches for lunch .
In the afternoon, they hopped on Caltrain and took it to the San Jose stop. While Mama was still in class, they walked over to the Whole Foods for a snack.
Mama arrived about an hour later and found the kids having a fun time with Dada.
We decided to stay overnight at a hotel near the class so we did a little shopping for milk and food for the kids before dinner.
After dinner, we went back to the hotel for a bath and milk. Don’t these two look so cute in the jammies with their milk?!

The kids also played together before bed.
This afternoon, the whole family picked up Janie from school. We found her reading a book with a friend.
We also left at the same time as her buddies Sota and Jamie so the threesome got to jump on the rocks outside for a bit before we all headed out separate ways.
We had dinner at a Thai restaurant this evening and Janie told us all about her day at school.
Peanut was all ears while his big sister was talking. He just adores his sister.
Mama had the day off so Peanut went for a 3-mile run with her in the new jogging stroller. He had a great time in it but was also happy to finally get out to stretch his legs and eat his snack.
This evening, Peanut was helping Mama clean up.
Then Dada and Janie came home with flowers for Mama.
While Mama finished tidying the house, Janie helped feed Peanut. She can be so helpful sometimes.
