Watch us grow!

Peanut loves communicating his needs. He’s signing and saying a few words now. Here he is signing “more” and “please”

We had hot pot for dinner tonight and Janie helped Dada cook the meat and other items.

Peanut ate lots of beef, tofu, and mushrooms.

Mama went to work today while Janie and Dada had the day off. They took BART to Mama’s work to get the car and then headed over to Home Depot, 99 Ranch, and lunch at Rubio’s.

We had dinner with Ankong, Ama, Uncle Jason, and Auntie Jia this evening before driving back up to SF. Peanut was particularly fond of Ankong this evening and hugged his arm.

He also have him “kisses” with his forehead. So cute.

Peanut and Toni sat next to each other and shared food all evening.

Janie had a hearty meal including her new favorite soup dumplings!

Janie snuggled up to Uncle Jason one last time before we piled into the car for a 6-hour drive home.
Lucky for Mama and Dada, both kids fell asleep right away and we only stopped twice for gas and pee breaks. We left Cerritos at 7:30 pm, had to drive through thick fog at times, and safely arrived home by 2:15 am.

After lunch, we stopped at Creamistry for a little dry ice show and a yummy treat. Look at this funny trio of kids!!

The ice cream is made with dry ice and the kids loved seeing the mist come down.

The girls shared their Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream while Peanut was left behind.

Luckily Mama came prepared with a fruit pouch for him.

We also got a nice family photo together before heading back to the house.

Ta cut up some mango for Peanut this morning and he probably ate at least half of a mango all on his own.

He’s also getting pretty good at poking food with a fork nowadays.

This afternoon, we dropped Janie off at Alice’s house. She stayed for dinner and ate Uncle Johnny’s risotto. Fancy.

The girls also had a massive tea party together.

Meanwhile Peanut went out with Mama and Dada for Korean BBQ with Oliver, Uncle Dayantha, and Auntie Krissy.

Peanut went to a party with Yai and Ta today so that Mama and Dada could take Janie to see a movie. He sat with all the grown-ups and had lunch.

Then it was back to the house for a nap after filling up his belly.

We went to Knott’s Berry Farm today and they were all decorated for Christmas. It was Janie’s first visit and possibly Dada’s too. Snoopy was at the entrance to greet us and Janie was excited to show him her Snoopy t-shirt.

While we waited for the rest of the family to arrive, we walked around Ghost Town and she got a peek at an old school house.

Then it was off to Camp Snoopy for some rides!!!

Alice arrived and Janie was so happy to see her.

They rode the airplane ride while Peanut took some pictures with Snoopy.

Toni and Thomas also came along and they rode the train together.

Peanut learned how to say “choo-choo” and pump his arm.

For lunch, we went to the Knott’s Fried Chicken Restaurant.

Peanut swiped one of Mama’s drumsticks off her plate.

Then it was back into the park for more rides. The girls rode the Kite Flyer next.

Weeeeee!!

The lines were unusually long today but the girls entertained themselves really well.

On the Huff-n-Puff, the ride was kid-powered.

Peanut was still too short for a lot of the rides so he spent some time playing in the play area and walking around with Yai.

The girls went on the big bus ride with Dada and Uncle Johnny. Janie said it was a lot of fun.

In the afternoon, we found Santa Snoopy and got a family photos taken.

By the end of the day, Janie had chocolate on her face and jello stains on her shirt. It was a good day for this girl.
