We finally had a clear, sunny day after so much rain. Our Saturday started at Janie’s soccer practice where Peanut had a fun time chasing soccer balls and trying to steal cones off the field.

Then we rode the train down to the Farmers Market where we saw lots of pretty tulips.

Mama and Dada shared a tasty porchetta sandwich and Peanut got a few tastes.

On our way home, we saw the Chinese New Year parade floats drive by on their way to the start. Janie thought she was watching the actual parade and was so excited. Mama and Dada were happy that the 1-minute “parade” was enough for her. How convenient!

Dada picked Janie up a little earlier than usual this afternoon so they had a little snack at the cafe downstairs from our condo. Janie got her usual brownie and made friends with one of the servers.

These two don’t always get along but when they do, it’s often very cute. Here they are having their milk together on the kitchen mat. It’s one way of ensuring they don’t wander around the house spilling their milk.
This evening, they continued to clink cups. Peanut loves his new trick and often says “Cheers!”

They also played with their Tegu blocks on the metal board.

Peanut ate his spaghetti dinner with a fork today and it was just as messy as when he used to eat with his fingers. Oh well. It’s still entertaining to watch but not much fun to clean up.

He’s still pretty stinkin’ cute thought, isn’t he?!

We bought some tomatoes today and Peanut appeared very interested in them. He climbed up on the stool to touch the box 3 different times this afternoon.

So, he sat in his chair and Mama gave him some. He usually HATES tomatoes but for some reason, he ate them. Hm…interesting…

For Super Bowl, the kids had quesadillas (and lots of sour cream) while Mama and Dada had the chicken wings that Dada made. Peanut learned how to dip his food and made a giant mess.

This guy was really into the game! Haha.

We had dim sum in Alameda this morning before going to see a couple of houses. The kids gobbled up the jook before Dada could get any.

Peanut got his very own bowl and spoon today and looked like such a big boy at the table. And again, this is a photo of him saying “cheese” when we saw the camera on him. Funny guy.

We had Spam, eggs, and rice for breakfast this morning and since Janie wanted to sit at the little table, Peanut got to try out her spot at the dining table.

This afternoon, Peanut had his lunch at the big kid table. He also fed himself with a spoon and did a decent job keeping most of it in his mouth and not on the floor.
