Dada had the day off so Janie got to stay home today. For lunch, they took the bus to the post office and had Chipotle for lunch. This is by far one of her favorite meals right now: kids meal with chicken, black beans, cilantro rice, tortillas, pico de gallo, apple juice, and lime chips. Yum.
Ever since he started daycare, Peanut has been coming home super hungry and then going to bed really early – around 6:30. Here he is waiting for big sister to come home.
Here he is having his early dinner before Dada and Janie get home.
We had a very rainy day today so it was perfect for doing some shopping. Peanut used his rain jacket for the first time and it was a perfect fit. He was not happy having the hood snapped up all the way.
Once inside, he was much happier – especially with samples to eat!
I love that he an actually play along with the book now.
I love watching these two eating at the table together.
This evening, Janie and Dada took the bus home so that we could meet for dinner on Park Street.
We ended up at a Chinese restaurant and Peanut loved the rice and salt and pepper pork.
He also pretended to be on the phone with Yai.
This guy loves spaghetti as much as his Mama and Big Sister. I’m also pretty impressed with his self-feeding skills.
Peanut stayed home with Yai this morning while Mama and Dada ran some errands.
The kids were up early this morning so they each had come cereal and milk.
Afterward, they did some drawing together.
Then it was time for second breakfast – scrambled eggs!!
Peanut is 20 months old today! He’s had a crazy month filled with lots of changes.
He still loves spaghetti and started saying “noo-noo” for noodles.
