Dada adjusted the strap on the carseat to fit him better and Peanut is pleased as punch.

Now he just has to figure out how to get up and down on his own.

Here he is at school in the early bird room with his pal Devin. This guy is always sitting at the table ready to greet Peanut when he arrives.

This morning, Peanut was super excited to sit in “KK’s chair” on the drive to school.

Right after Gavin’s party, we headed over to Uncle Jimmy’s house for his birthday party. They have fun toys out on their patio and our kids took full advantage of them.

Maya and Zoe joined in on the fun too!

Peanut had part of his meal with the little ladies.

The kids also enjoyed hanging out on their carpeted stairs without a safety gate to stop the little one.

Why is he always looking like he’s up to no good?!

For Cinco de Mayo, Ms. Rosi had the kids take turns stuffing the pinata with the goodies that all their moms and dads donated.

For lunch, they all helped make quesadillas and Peanut wore his medallion necklace on his head as a headband.
This afternoon, the kids had a pinata and Peanut did a pretty good job making some hits.

Peanut looked a little swollen this morning but he was perfectly happy with his breakfast this morning at school.

Dada also made an attempt at doing Janie’s hair for school this morning.

Janie planned out all our meals for the week and tonight’s dinner was Korean BBQ. It’s kalbi and purple rice for Peanut and soup and pan-chan (especially pickled radish) for Janie.

This is the usual school day routine now. Janie comes down to eat breakfast before getting ready for school.

Meanwhile, Peanut arrives at school early and has his breakfast with his buddy Devin.

It was a particularly hot day today in Alameda. Janie came in from her afterschool playtime all sweaty and hot.

Peanut just smelled like sunscreen from school.

Our little boy is 21 months today! Time is really flying by and has changed so much this past month.

He loves his big sister and now calls her name in the car and when they’re eating together. He imitates everything she does and says too.

He also loves to climb on everything. He’s a hardy little fella and falls like a stuntman.

Happy 21 Months, Peanut!! Love you!
