This afternoon, we all gathered in front of Ellie’s house for a BBQ with 4 other families. The kids enjoyed helping themselves to the water. Gavin helped Peanut fill up his cup.

We had tables under the tree and the kids had fun sitting together with their snacks.

Peanut had his fair share of watermelon slices this evening and his shirt was a big mess by the end of the day.

He also had a corn on the cob with cool holders on the side.

Here’s our attempt at a group photo of all the kids – including the littlest guy born just a few weeks ago. From left to right: Ellie, Janie, Collin, Gavin, David, Francisco, Daniel, Peanut, Juliano, and Miguel.

The kids were up early and having breakfast with Yai this morning. When Mama came downstairs, Peanut was wearing his Easter hat.

We went to Alameda Bicycle to shop for a bike for Janie.

Peanut kept himself entertained in the store.

The nice bike store man brought Janie into the mechanics room to check out the color of the bike that was being built. She said “yes, that one!”
So, we paid for her new bike and then had to wait 30 minutes for them to finish building it.

We took a walk up and down the street and Peanut is getting a lot better in his slippers.

When the bike was ready, Mama and Peanut went inside to get it. I think Peanut approves.

We gave it a test run on the sidewalk outside the store but didn’t get very far.

She was better off trying at home with a helmet on and a wide driveway to practice.
We opted having the training wheels left on while she practiced pedaling, steering, and stopping.

Mama and Dada went to a birthday party in Napa for the day so the kids hung out with Yai today. Thanks, Yai!!

We took Yai out to Hang Ten Broiler for crab but they did not have crab today. Instead, we ordered lots of shrimp made two different ways. Still tasty.

Peanut also tried a lemon wedge and said it was “spicy”. Haha.

Peanut was home sick today and thankfully Yai is here so Mama didn’t have to take off work. He ate LOTS of fruit and played on the swings too.

Peanut had a fever yesterday at school and stayed home today with Dada and Janie. He had lots of fruit and then went out for lunch at Chipotle. Dada documented him actually eating tomatoes. He usually hates tomatoes.

We adore the way Peanut say the word broccoli.
