We got on the road pretty early this morning. After driving about 2 hours, we stopped for breakfast at Denny’s.

Peanut tried sitting in the booth on his own but got pretty squirmy by the end of the meal.

Once we arrived in Livermore, we stopped for some outlet shopping. Peanut did a great job riding in the stroller the whole time and Janie scored a new soccer ball!

Dim Sum and Play

IMG_7496

For lunch, we had dim sum with Auntie Jia and Uncle Jason. Peanut and Janie enjoyed their first strawberry slushee. It was so hot in the restaurant.

After lunch, we all went to their house and Cousin Alice also came over for some fun.

Peanut found his big sister’s old toy at their house and pretended to take pictures of everyone.

The girls had a snack together in the front room while the boys played together in the back room.

Lawry’s

IMG_7444

This evening, we went to Lawry’s for dinner. We all piled into the van together and met up with Uncle Johnny, Auntie Joy, and kids.

One of the perks of this restaurant are the meatballs and kettle chips that are waiting for you in the bar. Peanut filled up on prime meatballs before we were even seated.

Everything tastes better on a stick!

IMG_7482

We also realized that this was Peanut’s first dinner at Lawry’s! It had also been at 3 years since Janie dined here as well.

IMG_7455

It was also Leela’s first trip to Lawry’s. Too bad she’s not old enough to taste anything yet.

We kept the little one entertained with some toys at the table.

IMG_7465

Janie got her very own kids plate complete with 4-ounce slice of prime rib, creamed corn, and mashed potato.

IMG_7460

The kids each got a cool Lawry’s cup too!

One more Dinner

IMG_7351

Here we go again. We had yet ANOTHER kitchen guy come over so we ordered Japanese food and the kids ate in the livingroom again. I guess it’s good practice for when we actually go through the renovation.
