It’s Friday evening and Dada was home early enough to go out for crab tonight!
Peanut was a little grouchy but still managed to eat his weight in Spam, fries, and pork.
After dinner, we went next door for bubble tea. The kids shared what they called a “smoothie”, which was actually lychee snow with mini boba.
Janie had boba once before and loved the extra small ones today.
Peanut tried it for the first time and was hooked! It was good lesson on sharing for the both of them this evening.
Auntie Eleen was sent this photo from school today. It’s Maya and Peanut having lunch together!! So cute.
Peanut gobbled up an entire peach on his own this morning for breakfast.
Mama’s old friend Auntie Holly was in town with her family this weekend and came over with Andrew and Sienna this afternoon. Janie was so excited to see her friend Andrew. Mama made dinner and the kids had a fun time making their own tacos. It was a big mess in the end but they had a blast together.
Later in the evening, the kids enjoyed their first thunderstorm with lighting and sudden downpours. They also played together until bedtime.
It’s so nice to see the next generation playing together without needing any time to warm up to each other. We don’t get these visitors from Southern California very often!!
It’s Monday morning and the kids slept in. Good thing Mama is off for the next two weeks!
Once they woke up, they had cereal with milk together before heading to school.
Mama’s work friends threw her a party today to celebrate the work she’s done Children’s Hospital. It was hot in Pleasant Hill but the kids enjoyed the water table that was set up in the backyard.
The boys also stayed cool in the hallway together.
The kids had a blast playing together and the posse moved from room to room.

These kids seemed extra silly this evening. Perhaps they’re just extra happy it’s Friday.
Oh and the boy loves playing with markers and wearing the ink too. 🙂
Peanut figured out how to eat cereal with milk just like his big sister. Breakfast just got easier and messier.
Once the kids got home from school, Peanut had a snack while Janie played outside with all of the regular neighborhood kids. It seemed like everyone was taking advantage of the cooler but still warm-enough-to-play-outside weather.
