It’s Mama’s first day at Kaiser, which means that Dada is in charge of the kids in the morning. He got them dressed, gave them breakfast, and dropped them both off at school on time. Nice job!

Today, Peanut worked on letters of the alphabet.

He also sat next to Maya at the lunch table today. They each have a placemat with their picture on it and they drink milk out of regular cups now.

Mama had to do some studying so Dada set up the iPad in the garage for the kids to watch. Gavin and Collin later showed up and joined them. They shared fruit and watched Paw Patrol.

Janie wanted Chipotle again so that’s what we had for lunch. She ordered the kid’s meal all on her own.

The kids shared the beans, rice, and chicken. Peanut even got his own apple juice today.

We stayed home today and the kids had fun playing with friends and together. Janie went outside in the morning and made some new friends.

After lunch, the kids sat in front of the window to watch the hummingbird eat on the feeder.

After dinner, we had movie night with popcorn. Janie chose Cinderella and sat through it without crying.
Janie tried her first fish eyeball today and ended up eating the second one too. She is definitely our adventurous eater.

Meanwhile, Peanut gobbled up the salt and pepper pork.

We picked up Dada at the ferry terminal tonight and the kids did a great job eating snack while we waited in the parking lot.

While Mama went out with the neighborhood moms, Dada took the kids to Chipotle as part of a fundraiser for Peanut’s school. They finished a kids meal together and did a pretty good job at the restaurant.

The family was up extra early this morning to drop Mama off at the start line of her race. Dada took the kids to Denny’s for breakfast while Mama ran.

They found her at the finish line and Janie asked to wear the medal for the rest of the day.

We also got celebratory smoothies and went to IKEA to do some browsing/shopping.

This guy insisted on drinking the bottom of his smoothie without the straw. What a mess.

While we shopped the kids did some drawing with the tiny pencils they have all over the shop and Peanut pretended to take pictures of big sister with his “camera”.

I’m glad they were able to stay entertained during this shopping trip.

This little guy spends a good part of the day on his own while the big kids are playing outside. Luckily he’s ok with having lunch on his own and sitting at the door with a book…most of the time.
