We went out for dim sum this morning.
Peanut had an interesting way of eating at the table.
Banana Monkeys
Mama bought bananas yesterday and the kids were bananas for bananas today. Peanut did a happy dance as he ate his and the kids asked for more after they each finished one each.
Peanut’s Thursday
Peanut’s Thursday started out with music time with Mr. Chris.
Then they went for their weekly nature walk down to the lagoon.
They found ducks swimming around.
He also rode the tricycle around and around.
After nap, Mama picked him up and took him to swim class. He enjoyed it for the most part but still doesn’t like floating on his back.
Lunch Duty
Mama helped with lunch at school today and Janie was so excited to show her how she picks up her school lunch.
She also surprised us by ordering the hambuger herself and eating the whole thing! She normally doesn’t like burgers so this was a big deal!
Sick Day
Peanut had to stay home today and Dada hung out with him. After dropping sister off at school, they stopped at Jamba Juice to pick up a smoothie for him.
They also had to go to Home Depot to pick up supplies for the kitchen.
He also finished off the carton of raspberries in the fridge. He was fever-free all day but had a cough. He should be well enough for school tomorrow.
Ramen
We tried a new ramen place on Park St. and the kids ate very well this evening.
Peanut is also very motivated when it comes to using chopsticks.
Raspberry Fingers
This guy loves raspberries and they’re even more fun when you eat them off your fingers!
Dinner with Mama
Dada was working late today so Mama and the kids went to Chipotle for dinner. This is one of Janie’s favorite places and the kids always eat well here.
As a special treat, we went next door to Jamba Juice for smoothies. Janie likes to watch her drink being made in the blender.
Soup
These kids love soup. Fortunately it’s not nearly as much of a mess as it used to be.
Eating Cereal
This guy loves cereal with milk.
