Peanut plays hard and naps hard.
Happy Hour Gang
The kids went to Oakland for a graduation Happy Hour with Mama and her old work friends. Peanut hung out with his pal Hudson while Janie got to do some drawing/coloring with Henry, Sophie, and Avia.
We were all so proud of how well all the kids did this evening. It’s great to see them grow up together over the past 6 years. So happy to have our little CHO family together in one place.
Park Day
It’s almost the last day of school and the Kindergarteners had a celebration at the park this morning. It happened to be on Thursday so Mama got to help out and join her.
We all walked down to the park from the school and the kids had free roam of the park and playground.
Janie played with the other Kaylee in her grade.
After lunch, Tucker’s Ice Cream came by with a cart and everyone got a free scoop!
Outside
It was quiet in the neighborhood today but that didn’t stop the kid from spending all afternoon outside.
It started with sidewalk chalk and making “colored milk” all over the entrance.
By the time they were done, it looked like a unicorn pooped all over the sidewalk.
Janie also did a little hopscotch.
Then they brought out the construction trucks.
Snacks were also eaten outside. So fun!
Driving back to Alameda
Daddy had to fly to NYC for work this morning so we brought Yai and Ta back up to Alameda with us!
On our way up the highway, we stopped Kettleman City for some ice cream. Yum!
Cerritos
We spent the day in Cerritos at Yai and Ta’s house.
Alice and Leela came over and then eventually Toni and Thomas joined them.
They had a good time playing in the sandbox together and then got some stuffed animal/hoodies from Mama.
Later in the afternoon, we went out for Shave Ice and Dole Whip.
Road Trip
We drove down to Cerritos today for Leela’s birthday party tomorrow. The kids stayed busy with their iPads and Peanut did a good job keeping his headphones on.

We also stopped at In-N-Out for dinner and while this is not a favorite for them, the kids actually ate hamburgers.
Ice Cream
The kids got ice cream after dinner today!!
Japanese Curry
Japanese curry is one of their favorite meals. Look at those smiles.
Outdoor Snacking
The kids came home from school and had snack outside.
Gavin and Collin came home a little later and joined them.
