While Janie and Dada were out for the evening, Mama took Peanut to swim and then a spaghetti and meatball dinner!
He also asked if we could get ice cream with sprinkles so that’s what we did! Tucker’s was just across the street and he asked the lady for sprinkles all by himself!
We had a long day and Janie was the busiest of the family. She had 5 outfit changes today! It started with getting ready for kung fu. Then she had to change into her Yu Ying uniform for the performance. Next was changing into her swimsuit, then back into regular clothes. When we got home, the kids showered and got back into their PJs. Phew! What a day!
It also poured outside while we were driving from place to place. We’re glad not all Saturdays are this jam-packed!
It was raining outside and on our way home from swim this evening, we went out for pho again but at a different restaurant.
The kids love pho and we are so happy to have a place that has a kid-size portion.
We had dinner in Oakland Chinatown today. Peanut ate a few boiled peanuts and then put a few in his truck.
He also drew a bunch of mean kung fu faces.
With all the rain and short winter days, the kids haven’t been able to play outside much. We had some sun today and the kids were able to get together for some outside time. When it was time to eat lunch, the boys came over to keep them company.
We went to Tucker’s for dessert tonight. Yum!
It’s still Winter Break for Janie so she stayed home with Yai and they went to Chipotle for lunch.
However, it was back to school for Peanut and he practiced making the letter X with the sticks.
This morning, Alice came over and we all had breakfast together.
Then it was time to pack up, take some group photos, and get started on our drive home.
We had such a fun time with the family this past week and the girls gave each other one last big hug before saying goodbye.
