This is one of Janie’s favorite snacks. I don’t know if it’s the act of dipping, the carrot, or the hummus.

It’s probably all three combined.
Watch us grow!

It’s probably all three combined.

We had dinner at Tsunami today and she did ok in the booth with us. As usual, she colored before the food arrived.

Then she sat up on the banquette with her small plate of noodles since it was too hard to reach the table without a booster seat.

She also loved the miso soup and took some selfies with Mommy and Daddy. Cheese!!

For Sunday dinner, Janie got to see Auntie Jia and Uncle Jason.

We went to a place in Foster City and she enjoyed coloring with Auntie before the food arrived.

After dinner, Janie got to ride the scooter along the bike path just south of the San Mateo Bridge.

The next stop was Baskin-Robbins for dessert!

She got to have some coconut pineapple ice cream and a cone all to herself!

It’s always fun when Uncle and Auntie are around!!

On our way home, Janie was playing with her friends in the backseat. When I turned around, she had GG on her head. Silly KK!

Today for lunch, we had ate at our favorite food truck food court and they had the World Cup playing on big screens.

We actually found a good spot that provided just enough shade and a good view of the Korea vs Algeria match.

And of course, we also went to Coscto to buy milk.

For dinner this evening, we went out for burgers at SuperDuper. She brought BigGG and GG along and had them sleeping on her legs. Funny girl. Janie ate a bunch of pickles and hamburger meat. She also enjoyed the music playing in the restaurant and wiggled to the tune as she ate.
Here’s a video of her eating, talking, and dancing to the background music. Click here if you can’t see the video above.

Afterward, she burned off her dinner with lots of running along Pier 14 and The Embarcadero.

I think she ran at least a total of 1/2 a mile that evening. She had her hands fisted and arms pumping like a real runner too.

This kid loves fruit and there’s so much variety in the Spring and Summer.

This morning, she got to eat cherries at the kitchen counter before Mommy left for work.

This is one of Janie’s favorite foods!! Yum.

Ankong and Ama called from Hawaii and Janie hung out with them for at least a half an hour. First, she had dinner with them.

She showed them how she could eat with her “tiny spoon”.

Then she went over to the window to serve them tea and ice cream.
She also took pictures of them with her ruler/camera. She even says “Cheese. Take picture with camera”.

For Father’s Day, we went out to the California Academy of Sciences for some fishie fun.

She seemed to have a greater appreciation for all the exhibits now that she’ no longer obsessed with the stairs down at the entrance.

After lunch, we went next door to the SF Botanical Garden, which is free for SF residents!

I knew this kid liked flowers but she had such a fun time looking at and touching all the different flowers.

Since she wasn’t allowed to pluck the flowers on display, I brought her over to the grassy area to pluck little flowers out of the grass. That seemed just as interesting to her.
Here’s a video of her exploring the garden.
After a nap, we headed back to the aquarium and picked up ice cream on the way over.

Daddy shared his ice cream with Janie and she got the cone all to herself.

This is one happy girl!

Here’s a video of Janie at the aquarium. She loved running around and seeing all the fish.

For dinner, we went to Hillstone for a tasty steak dinner. Janie changed into a cute dress for the occasion.

She did a nice job drawing while we waited for the food to arrive.

Today must have burned a lot of calories for her because she had a pretty good appetite. She had steak, noodles, and tomatoes. Yum!

Happy Father’s Day, Dada! Love you!

After Janie’s nap, we all went outside for some sunshine and fresh air.
The scooter came along and she had the best time riding all the way down to the Ferry Plaza.

She’s getting so fast that we get there faster than if we were just simply pushing her in the stroller.

She definitely worked up an appetite and gobbled up all the watermelon I packed for her.
We then went across the street to the playground. There was a nice path that went all the way around the grassy area that was perfect for scootering. This video is a bit long but I’ve put in some subtitles to help you understand what she’s saying. Some of it is pretty funny. There are also a couple times in the video where she was going so fast that you can see Daddy running to catch up with Little Miss Speedy.

She also tried the big kid swing again. It still makes me nervous.

For dinner, we went to Hog Island and Janie slurped down 3 raw oysters all on her own.
That was rather impressive. Here she is in action. It looks like she’s been paying attention because she knew exactly what to do.

Cheese!!

On the way home, we walked down the pier for a nice view.

It’s time for some family photos!

What a fun afternoon!
