Top Tooth
Boy, teething is a real bummer for Janie. She’s had restless nights, cranky afternoons, vomiting, and now a stuffy nose. This morning I finally got some good shots of her new tooth. Too bad the second one didn’t come in at the same time.
First Boo Boo
Janie was having a little too much fun on the magazine rack and got a papercut on her thumb.
She didn’t even notice and we wouldn’t have noticed either until I saw some blood on her thumb. After I cleaned it off, we put on a Hello Kitty bandage for her and she was so distracted by the little funny thing stuck to her thumb.
She would play and then every few seconds would suddenty look at her thumb. She even tried to shake it off. Funny girl.
How do I look?
When I was pregnant and found out we were having a girl, I imagined a little cutie with alien antennae pigtails. I bought a set of hair ties on Friday and couldn’t resist giving it a try. Janie has some pretty long hair now and it worked! She was a good sport and I thought she was pretty darn cute.

Two Little Teef
I think the two little teef on babies is so cute. I finally got a shot of them during a toothy smile. Too bad it’s kinda blurry. This kid moves a lot!
No, she’s not sleeping in this photo. It’s just a shot of her getting distracted by her shirt. I don’t blame her. It’s a cute onesie I got on the clearance rack at Baby Gap. Goes well with the skinny jeggings we already had for her. 🙂
