Yai has been with us for the past 3 weeks to help with watching Koa while we were in Hawaii and to help Daddy take care of Janie during my first week back at work. Now it’s time to say farewell again. See you on FaceTime, Grandma!

Today we took Janie to Fisherman’s Wharf. She always seems to enjoy the bus ride.

This is what she thought of the stinky sea lions.

Here’s Janie with Yai in front of Alcatraz. I guess it’s a little too far for her to see and appreciate. She seemed more interested in the seagull walking by.

Yai flew up this morning and Janie was reunited with her again.

When Yai went back to Cerritos 7 weeks ago, this shirt was too big but now it fits just in time for her return!

After Yai gave Janie a bath, she trimmed her tiny nails.

Janie is now 40 days old and Yai went back to Cerritos today. Janie was sad to see her go. Thanks for all your help! We’ll see you on FaceTime!

We went out for lunch and met up with some of my work friends today. Janie enjoyed sitting in Yai’s lap and stayed awake for most of the afternoon. I guess she wanted to hear all the gossip too.

Yai gave Janie a bath today. She only cried a little at the beginning this time.

Here she is all happy in her hoodie towel. Yippee! All clean!

Janie’s uncle, auntie, and grandpa came up to visit this weekend.

On her birthday, she was lucky enough to meet 3 out of 4 grandparents. Grandma (“Yai”) was there for the whole labor and delivery process and greeted her after her bath.

Later that afternoon, her other Grandpa (“Ankong”) and Grandma (“Ama”) arrived to say hello to Janie for the first time.

Today, her other Grandpa (“Ta”) arrived.

She is one lucky girl to have so many people who love her.
