Helper Hand
I caught Janie using her left hand to keep the paper from moving around while she colors.
In therapy, we call it the “helper hand” and she’s figured it out on her own! Yippee!
Buckle
After two weeks of persistence and practice, Janie buckled both straps on her feeding chair all by herself. Nice work, Baby!
Big Ball
Last weekend Janie got a new bouncy ball from Target. It’s a pretty entertaining toy for a toddler.
As a therapist, I like it because it allows her to practice squatting while using both hands at the same time.

She also likes to throw it on the ground and follow it around as it bounces and rolls around the house. It turns out this was a pretty worthwhile purchase.
