The scab fell off today and his lip is healing nicely. Kids heal so quickly! It’s been only 5 days since the fall!

It was hot again today so the kids went outside and had a water fight.

We went one a family walk this warm evening. This photo of Dada and Janie reminded me of what they used to do every morning to get to work and school.

We ended up at a bench near the ferry dock and watched the sun go down.

The kids were outside on their “vehicles” and Peanut had a big spill off his bike and landed on his face. When he came in crying, he had blood and white bits in his mouth, which I thought were his teeth. Fortunately, he was eating an apple when he fell.

His upper lip got an abrasion on the outside and a cut inside from his teeth. Luckily, he’s a touch little guy and was fine after the initial fall and bleeding.

He sort of ate his dinner and then fell asleep on the couch. Poor guy.

Big Sister makes a pretty comfy seat.

It’s been 2 months of Shelter-in-Place and the kids hadn’t left Alameda this entire time. We went on a special outing to Brentwood for some cherry picking. The farm we went to took appointments and when we arrived, it was nice and empty. We had rows and rows to ourselves and SO MANY CHERRIES to pick!

The kids had a great time and they were excited to bring home all the cherries for snacking.

This guy couldn’t wait and had his fair share of samples while were were picking.

We brought home 9 pounds of cherries and we were done by 9:30 when it started to rain.

We also stopped at 99 Ranch on the way home and waited in the car while Dada shopped. We had some cherries and also walked to the donut shop next door to pick up some treats.

Peanut fell asleep with the donut in his hand on our drive home.

Peanut is overdue for a haircut and we had to be creative with how to keep the hair out of his eyes.

The hair trimming set is on it’s way from Amazon. Just a few more days…

It’s Mother’s Day and the kids made cards!

During our bike ride, we passed by this IKEA kitchen that was left on the sidewalk with a sign that said “FREE”. It’s a kitchen that we had seen so many times but never bought. The kids (and Mama) wanted it so once we got back to the house, Mama drove the van over and picked it up. It was in perfect condition with all the utensils and pretend food inside. After it was disinfected, we brought it into the house and the kids started playing right away.

Later that evening, Peanut continued to play and prepared Mama a special meal.

Look! He even make avocado toast!

Peanut had fun posing with a pokemon in the house today.
