The kids went on their nature walk today and sat on the steps to watch the ducks in the lagoon.

Patio Dining
After swim, we had dinner at Spin. To celebrate the first day of Fall, we had dinner outside on the patio.
The kids were also having fun with the Baby Shark filter.
Roasted Kale and Lamb Pops
Dada was still finishing up the lamb so the kids got a head start on the roasted kale.
Little Joker
Can you pick out our little joker in the line-up? They went on their usual nature walk this morning and Peanut really wanted to stand out in the group photo.
Labor Day
It’s Labor Day so everyone slept in. This morning, we found both kids under their beds watching videos on the iPad. So sneaky.
Today, they also wore their matching Franklin BBQ shirts that Mama and Dada brought back from Austin.
Dessert
When the kids eat well at dinner, they get dessert and milk. Yum!

Day Outside
The morning started with the kids playing together in their bedroom.
After swim, we stopped at Target and the kids had a little fun with the stickers they received from the cashier.
When then got home, they played outside with the neighborhood kids. Janie was using Peanut’s tricycle to deliver buckets of water to the other side of the park.
Peanut’s buddy Ethan also came by to play.
Reunited
The kids came home this afternoon and were so happy to see the minivan pull up to the curb at the airport. We went out to dinner afterward and had so much to tell us. It’s nice to have them back but dinner was not as peaceful as it had been these past two weeks.
Silly Girl
We called the kids before bed and Janie was super silly this evening.
