Janie went out to lunch at Chipotle today with Dada and he captured her various expressions as she was eating.
This one is his favorite. In fact, it’s now on his lock screen on his phone.
Watch us grow!

We went to Jack and Reese’s house for their annual pie party. Poor Peanut didn’t get to taste any of the pies.
There were 16 pies to taste and Janie voted for her favorite. She liked the lemon poppy seed one the best.
After lunch, she drew pictures in the sand in the backyard.
I’m not sure what she was doing here.
Peanut is so good at making the pout pout lip. It’s like his warning to us all that he’s unhappy about something. He got this from Mama’s maternal grandmother.
When his maternal great grandmother’s pout is coupled with his paternal great grandmother’s scowl, he is the most adorable little pout pout fish I’ve ever seen.
It’s Peanut’s first Halloween and he dressed up as a really tough-looking Robin to help fight crime alongside his big sister Batgirl.
We had a PT Month potluck today and Peanut was there to celebrate too.
His buddy Max was there too and they gave each other fist bumps.
He was pretty tired by 1:00 so Auntie Karen rocked him to sleep in the “PT hold”
We made an epic journey across town to watch the Blue Angels fly. The eight of us took a train, a very crowded bus, and walked a whole lot to get down to Aquatic Park past Fisherman’s Wharf. Janie did a great job staying close to us and holding on to the stroller and our hands throughout the trip.
We were originally going to head all the way over to Marina Green but the spot we picked on the other side of the hill was just fine for us. We laid down picnic blankets and Peanut and the twins got to stretch out. It was surprising to Mama that he was so happy being flat on the blanket for so long. He just babbled, kicked his legs, and hung out long enough for Mama to eat lunch! His legs got some sun while Mama shaded his face from behind.
Janie used Dada as a chair for part of the time.
Later, he became a cot too.
Peanut and Thomas wore matching outfits today and looked so cute next to each other.
During the latter half of the air show, Peanut fell asleep after getting all bundled up.
Can you find him on the blanket?! Toni and Thomas were also sleeping over by Auntie Jia who is in orange. They were all covered up to shield them from the noise.
The Blue Angels didn’t seem to bother Peanut but it did wake him up toward the end. It was actually Janie that said it was too loud. She hid in the stroller with the sun shade pulled over her for part of the show.
After a long walk home, the babies all got changed and fed at home and then we went out one last time for dinner just down the street.
Janie drew on her Boogie Board while she waited for her soup.
For dinner, she had chicken soup and mashed potatoes. Thomas hung out on Uncle Jason’s lap and looked longingly at uncle’s fried chicken. What a fun but tiring day. We were lucky to have good weather and no mishaps along the way.
This morning, I found the two kids quietly entertaining themselves on the floor next to each other.
It was a rare moment of peace and quiet in the house. Of course it only lasted a few minutes.
Peanut got fussy soon after that and then crazy big sister came by to see what was going on.
This photo and their expressions pretty much sums up most of the day with these two kids together.
I can’t believe he’s two month old already! This month has been all about fattening up and growing for him. Here are some highlights:
Mama couldn’t decide which photo was best so she posted a bunch of these 2-month pictures.
Happy 2 Months, Peanut!! We love you and look forward to so many more new milestones!
For dinner, we went to House of Prime Rib. We had a bit of a wait but the girls did ok sitting on the barstools waiting together.
Alice shared her videos with Janie and they were mesmerized.
We also took some time to take a few snapshots together.
Dinner was yummy and Janie had some of Mama’s prime rib and mashed potato.
Peanut also joined us at the table since he didn’t want to sleep.
Meanwhile, Janie had some of Mama’s birthday dessert.
We were all up really early this morning so we headed out for breakfast down the street. Luckily this restaurant opens at 8!
Janie snacked on their mini muffins and helped prepare Mama’s coffee while we waited for the food to arrive.
She looks like such a little lady here.
Janie got her own pancake and cutting with a fork and knife is getting easier nowadays.
Peanut woke up half-way through out meal and was in a pretty good mood.
It was already getting warm at that hour so he came out and got a little morning sun with all of us.
