Peanut did went to kung fu today and did a great job following directions.
He also worked on his horse stance with Sifu.
During Janie’s class, he sat quietly with the iPad.

The best thing about Peanut’s Bruce Lee costume is that it doubles as pajamas now.
Kung Fu
This morning Sifu taught Janie’s class and really challenged her strength and balance. He tested out her horse stance by sitting on her lap and then having her hold it with beams over arms.
What a workout!
Here she is with her routine. She might be ready for her belt test soon.
After kung fu class, we stopped at the grocery store nearby and the kids had fun riding under the basket.
Halloween 2018
It’s Halloween and the kids had a kung fu theme this year.
Here we have Bruce Lee.
And here we have Chun Li from Street Fighter.
The kids really embraced their roles and had a lot of fun going trick-or-treating around the neighborhood.
Peanut’s buddy Ethan also joined us and they all came home with lots of loot.
Here’s our house and Gavin’s house all decorated for the evening.

These kids are ready for Halloween tomorrow! The nunchuks also arrived this evening – just in time!!

Peanut tried on his Halloween costume today and did a little Bruce Lee practice too.

Peanut learned the Ax Fist today.
Ge also practiced a couple sequences.

First Official Kung Fu Classes
The kids took their first official Kung Fu classes today. They wore their new uniforms and received their belts at the end of each class. Peanut is taking the Little Tiger class at 9:30 and then Janie takes her White Belt class at 10:00.
Sifu Sam is really funny.
Another trial
Peanut tried the Little Tiger kung fu class today and it was a hit. We signed up both kids for the next 6 months and got their uniform to take home. Yay!
