The kids came up with a schedule for today complete with illustrations.

It’s like the family leveled up once the kids were able to fold their own clothes. They even kept track of the orphan socks and reunited 2 out of 3 by the end.

Peanut made up his own list of “chores”:

Auntie Jia had bought this desk for Peanut a while ago and it had been sitting in a box until now. He’s at the right age and it’s the perfect time to put it together and get some use out of it. With remote learning ahead of us, he needs a workspace for school and we tried it out today.

The kids kept up with their summer workbooks too.

Here is a drawing of a rocket ship. At first, I thought it was a shark. 🙂

The kids spent some time doing worksheets and their “summer homework”.

Here is the drawing that Peanut made. It’s a submarine.

With Shelter-in-Place happening so suddenly and Peanut’s school closing over a weekend, we didn’t have the chance to bring home his belongings. Months later, we were given a day to pick up what he had in his cubby, which included his sunscreen, bandaids, medicine, and some school supplies. This notebook was sent home and it was fun to see the work he did over the first half of the year.

This morning, the girls had a drawing session together.

This morning at Ankong and Ama’s house, the kids did their worksheets.

Then they made Spam musubi for lunch. So fun!

The kids spent the day at Toni and Thomas’ house. Janie logged onto her Yu Ying class while Peanut worked on a coloring page.

The kids also did a drawing lesson.
