Daddy’s Birthday
It’s Daddy’s 43rd Birthday today! We went out to dinner at Trabocco this evening and Janie drew him a nice card.
Homework
This is one of Janie’s homework assignments. It was to write a sentence and draw a picture about how she can be a good ally.
Meanwhile, Peanut practiced cutting. He couldn’t help praise himself by saying “AWESOME” when he was done.
Art Class
Yu Ying (Janie’s Chinese school) offered a free trial art class today.

Janie went to Yu Ying this past week and there was an art teacher there everyday. She came home with this cool piece today.
Father’s Day
After Janie’s swim lesson this morning, we stopped at the Island Jam Festival nearby.
The kids enjoyed the train ride and we also went down the big slide. Janie said it was “too fast” and Peanut said “AGAIN!!” It’s funny how different they are.
Next, we walked over to East Ocean for dim sum.
After dim sum, we met up with Zoe and Maya to celebrate Father’s Day at Almanac Brewery.
Wikki Stix
After swim, we went to brunch and the kids were given Wiki Stix. Janie made some cool stuff while we waited for our food to arrive. Not bad for her first time.
Drawing
This evening, the kids spent some time drawing and coloring. It’s nice to see them doing something quiet together for a change.
Mother’s Day
Janie gave me some cool gifts for Mother’s Day this year.
