Daddy, Auntie Jia, and Uncle Jason drove Janie back up to SF today.  They gave her an “A” for this car ride and sent Mommy some pictures from her day.

This is what she looked like in the morning.  It looked like she really partied with Ankong and Ama last night.

Then it was time to get dressed and packed up for the ride home.

She took one last walk with Ankong before getting strapped into the car seat.

First stop was Chick-fil-A.  Yum!

She had mostly her own food but got to dip a waffle fry into some ketchup too.

She napped a long time in the car.  She didn’t sleep much this weekend.

Then she shared a special frozen treat with Daddy.  Mommy was so jealous.

Once they got back to the Bay Area, Mommy met up with the gang for a hot pot dinner.

Long Beach Aquarium

Ankong and Ama took Janie to Long Beach Aquarium of the Pacific today.  What a treat!

Now that she can walk and climb up on the step, it’s so much more fun to explore.

For lunch, she had meatballs, pasta, and some of Ankong’s black beans.

Her favorite part was the shark reef.

She loved putting her hand in the water.  I don’t think she actually touched any animals.

There was lots of splashing and a little bit of tasting too.

She also scored a plush tiger shark that looks a lot like G-raffe…hm…

This is the penguin exhibit.  It’s like she’s underwater.  Neato.

It was a hot outside and she tried Jamba Juice for the first time.
