Soccer for Babies

This afternoon, Mirian took Peanut and Andrea to the library for a special soccer program.

It’s a good thing he was wearing his new Chucks! Thanks, Auntie Teresa for handing them down to us!

Peanut played with tiny soccer balls and they had goals all lined up along the back wall.
Rainy Day

It rained today and Mirian was very creative with keeping the kids dry in the tandem stroller. Andrea held an umbrella and Peanut used his rain cover from our single stroller at home.

story time line

Starting beginning of this month, the library decided to make story time first-come-first-served instead of accepting reservations 6 days in advance. Mama doesn’t have to wait for 12:00 pm every Wednesday and Friday to register anymore but now the kids have to line up at the library 30 minutes before it opens on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

So, that’s what they did this morning and they didn’t seem to mind. Look at those smiles!

And look at this line! It was only 9:35 am and the library doesn’t open until 10:00 am.

Luckily, they got tickets to the 10:15 am story time and Peanut enjoyed it very much. He even stood for some of the songs.
Buddies

Peanut and Andrea went swinging together today at the playground.

Janie and Sota held hands on the train ride home today.
grouchy morning

Mama got a text from Mirian this morning that Peanut didn’t want to play at the museum today. He cried for most of the morning. We couldn’t figure out what was wrong with him.

After the museum, they went for a walk around Yerba Buena Gardens and he was feeling better. When they got home, he was all smiles again, ate his lunch, and took his usual 2-hour nap.
Scribbles and Magnets

Peanut went to the Creativity Museum today and tried scribbling with crayons today.

He also played with magnet toys with Andrea!
