It was really hot outside today so Janie went swimming with Dada. She not only practiced her kicking but learned how to hold her breath to go underwater!

In the meantime, Peanut enjoyed the warm weather under the shade and had a nice nap.
We are so proud of her! She’s always been so afraid of having water poured over her head so this is a big step for her!!
Our family just keeps growing. Now with Peanut here, there are even more kids when we get together. Auntie Ishya, Uncle Billy, Theo, Sadie, Great Uncle Chusak, and Great Aunt Pisamai drove up from San Jose this morning to visit the newest member of the family.
Janie needed a little time to warm up to all the people in her house but she was playing and talking after about 30 minutes.
Here are the 2nd Cousins all together for the first time. Peanut is 15 days old here.

The twins and Janie have grown a lot since this photo was taken. Janie was 16 days old.
He loves his hands and Mama is a softy so I swaddled him with his hands poking out. He still managed to fall a sleep this way without poking himself in the eye.
Janie loves her baby brother and will ask to hold him at least once a day.

After Janie goes to school, Peanut still has a full day ahead of him. It started out with some Tummy Time. Instead of trying to lift his head, he decided to suck his hand.
Then after eating, he took a nap on Mama’s lap.
Later in the day, he was wide awake and hung out with Mama in her lap.
He also rode in the carrier and fell asleep.
After another feeding, he passed out again and was in a milk coma. Being 13 days old is hard work.
Why are babies so cute when they sleep?!
After he eats, he falls fast asleep. He stayed like this for a good half hour before Big Sister came home.
We took a little trip to 99 Ranch Market today and Peanut slept right through it.
This morning, before heading out to school, Janie helped get her brother changed and dressed for the day. He was going to drop her off at school today!
We all walked together to Janie’s school and said our goodbyes. She had a few tears when Mama left but she was going to be brave this Monday morning. Unfortunately, Mama had to leave so quickly that no photos were taken today.
After dropping off big sister, Peanut got to cruise the city streets in his stroller.
He pretty much slept through Mama’s doctor’s appointment and the whole way home.
This afternoon, Janie played with the stickers that Auntie Ishya gave her.
Thomas and Toni handed down one of their Rock n Plays to Peanut and it was a hit. Janie helped helped out with rocking Peanut to sleep and set- up camp with her reading chair.
As soon as Peanut fell asleep, she got more stickers from Mama and worked on decorating her brother’s tummy.
Phew, being on baby brother duty is hard work!
Here he is later this evening. He snoozed here for half the night with Dada rocking him every once in a while. Thanks for the rocker, Cousins!!
