Peanut went for a morning run with Mama while Dada and Janie were still asleep.

He also fell asleep midway through and missed the gorgeous view at the end of the Pier.

Why are babies so cute when they’re sleeping?! This is what Peanut looked like under the cover of the Ergo this afternoon.

He’s getting better at this Tummy Time thing lately. Mr. Crab keeps him company when he’s doing his exercise.

His workout was so hard that he fell asleep for a really long nap (on his tummy!) afterward.

We made an epic journey across town to watch the Blue Angels fly. The eight of us took a train, a very crowded bus, and walked a whole lot to get down to Aquatic Park past Fisherman’s Wharf. Janie did a great job staying close to us and holding on to the stroller and our hands throughout the trip.

We were originally going to head all the way over to Marina Green but the spot we picked on the other side of the hill was just fine for us. We laid down picnic blankets and Peanut and the twins got to stretch out. It was surprising to Mama that he was so happy being flat on the blanket for so long. He just babbled, kicked his legs, and hung out long enough for Mama to eat lunch! His legs got some sun while Mama shaded his face from behind.

Janie used Dada as a chair for part of the time.

Later, he became a cot too.

Peanut and Thomas wore matching outfits today and looked so cute next to each other.

During the latter half of the air show, Peanut fell asleep after getting all bundled up.

Can you find him on the blanket?! Toni and Thomas were also sleeping over by Auntie Jia who is in orange. They were all covered up to shield them from the noise.

The Blue Angels didn’t seem to bother Peanut but it did wake him up toward the end. It was actually Janie that said it was too loud. She hid in the stroller with the sun shade pulled over her for part of the show.

After a long walk home, the babies all got changed and fed at home and then we went out one last time for dinner just down the street.

Janie drew on her Boogie Board while she waited for her soup.

For dinner, she had chicken soup and mashed potatoes. Thomas hung out on Uncle Jason’s lap and looked longingly at uncle’s fried chicken. What a fun but tiring day. We were lucky to have good weather and no mishaps along the way.

While Daddy and Janie went to Costco and Safeway this morning to buy stuff for our dinner party tonight, Peanut went with Mama to the Farmers’ Market to buy bread. He slept during the walk over and looked so comfy.

On the way back, we stopped to watch the sailboats, kayaks, and a navy ship sail under the bay bridge. It was a beautiful morning along The Embarcadero.

On the walk home, Peanut enjoyed sucking on his tasty hand.

Mama made plans to have lunch with her friends at work today and we arrived early enough for some snuggle time with Heather, Mama’s manager. He was very chatty with her today.

He also got to hang out with Auntie Karen and Auntie Trang!

At lunch, he got a bit fussy and ended up falling asleep on Mama’s lap while she ate lunch.

After a quick snooze, Peanut went back to the hospital for some playtime with his new buddy Max, who was born only 10 days earlier. We took a side-by-side photo of them and Peanut is looking large and in charge!

They also did some Tummy Time together and did a pretty good job.

Then they eventually got tired together with very similar expressions.

For Mama and Uncle Johnny’s birthdays, we drove up to Napa for the day. What a fun little day trip for the whole family!

On our way to lunch, we stopped at the outlet and Janie helped push the stroller.

For lunch, we had burgers at Gott’s. Janie played with Alice and Peanut had just enough energy to eat and then immediately fell back asleep.

Mama carried Peanut home from lunch today and when he was taken out, he stayed asleep. Funny guy…

For lunch, we celebrated Mommy and Uncle Johnny’s birthdays with Uncle Jason and Auntie Jia. We all met up at one of our favorite fried chicken places and found a big table that fit all 13 of us!

The girls sat next to each other in highchairs at one end of the table.

They shared toys and played together while waiting for the food.

The twins joined the party and watched all the activity from their seats.

Peanut slept for the beginning of lunch and then woke up hungry and wanting to join the party.

Peanut and Thomas hung out outside with their dads for a while too.

Peanut was such a good boy today while we were out picking up Mama and Dada’s new phones. He slept through the hour-long queue and didn’t wake up until it was time for lunch.

Here’s Dada’s phone.

He was posing with it while waiting for Dada’s return from China that night.

After our shopping adventure, we had lunch at the mall and sat with Mama in her lap after he ate.
