Watch us grow!
Just like with his big sister, on the first night after staying with Mirian during the day, Peanut slept through the night for a total of 9.5 hours!! She has also established a daytime feeding schedule for him and now takes a 4-ounce bottle at 9 am, 12 pm, and 4 pm everyday. Mirian did her magic again for us.
Now, he gets his last feeding at 7 and then goes down shortly after that. Let’s hope he sleeps just as long tonight.
This morning, Peanut went back to sleep after his 6am feeding so Mama was able to get ready for her first day back at work. Before leaving, he was still sleeping. What a cutie…
Once again, Downton Abbey has proven to be effective white noise for this guy. After struggling for 20 minutes to fall asleep the usual ways, he fell asleep almost instantly when Mama put him down on the floor with this show playing on tv.
Peanut had a stomach bug at midnight and was throwing up everything he ate. In the morning, he threw up more and had very little energy. On our trip to Costco, he slept in the stroller. Poor baby.
Janie rode in the cart and arranged the items in the basket.
Our second stop was Petco. Peanut woke up by then and got to see some mice and turtles.
Janie woke up early this morning and later threw up. After breakfast, she was falling asleep in her reading chair and decided to lay down (not typical for her). We took her temp and it was 102. She napped for at least 2 hours and took some Tylenol. She was fever free by lunch but now has a cold.
For the past month, Peanut has been sleeping in the Rock ‘n Play. This week, I’ve been training him to sleep completely flat again and today he napped in the cosleeper for 2 straight hours! We will see how he does tonight.

At Uncle and Auntie’s house, we briefly hung out while the movers were packing up their stuff. Peanut got to try out their jumparoo and had a good time. He was jumping and doing a little jig at the same time.

Just minutes later, we found him looking a little drowsy and then eventually falling asleep as he was jumping. It’s funny how he falls asleep and then wakes up to bounce and then falls back asleep from the movement. We all got a little chuckle.
At that point, Mama picked him up and he transferred to the car seat for a nice long nap.
On our way to Janie’s school, Peanut fell asleep. He’s had an exciting day.
When we arrived, Janie was playing with the alphabet board with her buddy Vidit.
On our first day without Daddy at home (he flew to France this morning), both kids went down for a nap AT THE SAME TIME!! Aaaah…Mama got 90 minutes of peace and quiet.
We went to Roy’s for dinner tonight.
We had a table for 8 and the babies took turns sitting in the highchair.
There was some extra love for Toni this evening while Auntie Jia was eating.
Janie got her very own meal that resembled a mini version of Auntie Jia’s short rib.
Her meal also came with an ice cream dessert with sprinkles!! Lucky girl!
During dessert, Peanut was sitting in Mama’s lap and fell asleep sitting upright. I guess he got the sleeping gene from Mama.
