Dada picked up Janie early today and they took this picture together while Mama was on her drive home.

By the time Mama got home, this was the scene in the livingroom.

How can this little monster look so angelic when he’s sleeping? So cute.

They’re so cute when they’re sleeping and look very much alike.

Peanut is 17 months old today and he has really turned into quite a little boy. He seems to understand and communicate more and has definitely been moving more!!!

Highlights from this past month:
Climbing has also become a fun pastime for him. He learned how to climb onto his big sister’s bed and onto the couch with a little help from the reading chair. In Hawaii, he figured out how to walk on sand and in the shallow waves. He also enjoys dancing any time he hears music.
He also sleeps on his tummy or curled up like a turtle more frequently now.

It’s hard to believe that our baby boy is just a boy now. He’s definitely a handful but we love him to pieces. Happy 17 months, Peanut!!

Peanut has adjusted well to the time change this week. We’ve been able to hold him off for dinner an hour later and he now goes to bed around 8pm, which is 9pm his old time! The best benefit is that he’s been sleeping longer in the morning and then just hangs out in his bed until Mirian arrives at 8am. The only downside is that Mama doesn’t get her snuggle before going to work.

Love to watch this kid sleeping. She still snuggles her Little Guy and sometimes makes a sucking motion with her mouth.

Peanut has always been an early bird and one of his favorite things to do is to wake up her late-bird sister.

What better way to wake up than a little brother banging cups next to your bed in the morning?!

Mama left early for class and the kids had a little picnic for breakfast in the hotel room.

After their morning naps, the gang headed out to the Great Mall for lunch. It’s funny to see the contrast in self-feeding skills in these two.

On the way to pick up Mama, both kids fell asleep and slept all the way home too. It’s a good thing since it was an hour-long drive back to SF.
