We’re going to Hong Kong!! Janie wrote this on our message board this morning.

The first leg of the journey was from SFO (San Francisco) to NRT (Narita-Tokyo).

The kids were super excited but also had no idea where we were going.

Janie was also nice enough to share her rolling bag with her brother.

Our plane is ready for us!!

We had the kids set up with headphones and other toys to keep them busy.

Lunch was actually pretty good too. ANA served us Japanese curry, potato croquette, rice, cold udon, and tamago.

Peanut also practiced using chopsticks.

The media screen had lots of movies, cartoons, and video games too!

Thankfully, each kid took a nap on the 11-hour flight.

They did pretty well considering this was their first international flight.

The teachers captured him during his nap today and he looked so comfy.

Holding Hands

The kids were up really early this morning. Peanut climbed over onto Janie’s bed and they held hands and talked before coming out of the room to wake Mama and Dada. They really do love each other.

The kids fell asleep earlier than usual today. I guess swimming lessons really takes a lot out of them.

Home Depot and Dim Sum

Before lunch, we stopped at Home Depot. Peanut fell asleep so we waited in the car while Dada shopped.

For lunch, we had dim sum in El Cerrito. Peanut got red-handed stealing milk out of the cooler.

Day in the City

Janie and Peanut were both off for Columbus Day so they had one extra day with the cousins. We picked them up from their hotel in the morning and also got a free breakfast in the lobby.
