Peanut worked on a craft today at school. I’m guessing it’ll be a bunny.

This morning, Yai took Peanut to school.

He played n a tunnel today.

When he got picked up, Yai gave him a bath, and he was in his pjs before Mama even got home.

It was a good day for this little guy.

Peanut did some gardening at school today.

Peanut was very excited to see Yai today when she picked him up from school. He nearly pushed this little girl out of the way.

Once Janie got home, the two kids played together on the sofa.

Then Yai made them some dinner while Mama and Dada went back to the condo again to move more of our stuff.

This morning, Yai dropped Peanut off at school and he did really well up until she had to leave.

At pick-up time, he was busy playing with some kids. He probably enjoys school but still needs to work on separation in the morning.

Mama drove Peanut to school this morning and we had to leave while the sun was still coming up.

He had to try out the early bird room (where kids get dropped off before 8am) today and did ok at first until it was time for Mama to leave. There were some tears.

Yai picked up Peanut from school and he was so happy to see her.

When he got home, he got a tasty snack while he watched the kids playing outside.

For dinner, we ordered Chinese food and had it delivered. We still don’t have all our pans and food from the SF house.

We spent our first night at the house last night. Janie and Dada rode the transbay bus to school/work.

Yai took Peanut to school and picked him up too.

His second day of school went ok. Although he did need the company of his Boo Boo for most of the day.

He was very happy to be home.

On the commute home, Janie and Dada took the ferry! What fun!

Janie said “goodbye” to the San Francisco house this morning, went to school with Yai, and then rode the transbay bus to her new house in Alameda. How exciting!!

Today was Peanut’s first day of daycare. Dada and Mama drove him to Alameda and dropped him off around 11:00 am for a short trial run. The kids had just finished eating lunch and were settling down for a nap when we arrived. The teacher had an extra meal for him so he sat down to eat with Mama by his side.

He had quite a bit to eat and was happy to watch the kids trying to nap.

Then it was his turn. They had a cot ready for him in the middle of the other kids. Mama put him down with BooBoo and his blanket and he just stayed there. At that point, it was time for Mama to say goodbye.

At noon, we picked up the keys to our new house and moved a few items in. By the afternoon, it was time to pick up Peanut and we found him sitting at the table with his classmates.

He’s in the youngest class, named the Honeybees, and he’s probably the youngest one in his class too.

Looks like he settled in just nicely today. He didn’t even need BooBoo by the end of the day. Teacher said he took only a short nap and did rather well for his first day.

When it was time to go, he insisted on putting his backpack on.

He even waved goodbye to his new teacher, Rosi, as we left.

Here he is in the multi-purpose room. This school is huge!!

We’re glad he had a fun first day. We just hope the following days are just as good.
