This is what he does everyday at school.

And this is what we have to do after school.

This guy has the funniest expressions sometimes.

He’s also quite a bruiser and fell on his nose yesterday. Now his nose had a big boo-boo but he doesn’t care.

Peanut played so nicely with a friend today. I just love the video of them.

They really keep the kids busy and learning all day at school. I love all the fine motor trays they give him.

This sensory table also looks like so much fun. Who doesn’t love bubbles?!

I love that this guy gets lots of time outside just being a kid. Check out the bubbles he’s blowing!

He’s also getting lots of exercise on those riding toys. They have a little track that goes along the perimeter of the play yard and the kids all follow each other.

It’s nice to see that Peanut gets plenty of messy sensory play at school. He particularly loves the sandbox and comes home covered in sand along with more sand in his shoes and pockets.

He also gets to play with cool stuff like paint and this slime!

This boy really gets messy at school everyday. The class got a new shipment of sand for the sandbox and he comes home with his pockets and shoes filled with sand.

He also does lots of art projects that involve glue, paint, and other fun (and messy) stuff.

Here is his best attempt at making an American flag.

Janie does two pages from her reading workbook every morning on the ferry ride to school. Some of it is easy and some of it requires explanation from Dada.

Our Little Janie graduated preschool today!! It took place at the Gap Corporate Office and all their graduation caps were lined up in order for the ceremony.

Here is Janie’s cap complete with a rainbow, footsteps, and a flower.

She entered the room with her class and was so proud of herself.

She was also excited to see Mama made it across the bay to see her.

The class recited a few poems and sang some songs for their parents. It was very cute.
Here is their Acorn Song. She sings this one in the bathtub a lot.

Then Miss Tiffany (one of Janie’s favorite teachers) called each of them up to get their certificate. Janie opted for a hug instead.

Our Baby Girl is heading to Kindergarten!! Look out world!

At the reception afterward, we got to catch up with Miss Sharla, her teacher from last year’s Alligator Class.

She also got a photo with Miss Elizabeth, the director of the Whale Class. She was often at school early in the morning to greet Janie when she arrived. Sometimes Janie was the first one to arrive at school and got to follow Elizabeth around as she unlocked doors and prepped the classroom.

This is Tiffany, one of Janie’s favorite teachers. She gave Janie the nickname “Cricket”.

After the reception, we headed down Embarcadero for dinner.

It was the perfect day for some graduation photos!!
