It was Peanut’s first day back at school after his long 2-week vacation in Cerritos. He cried when he arrived but his teacher said he was ok by circle time. It must have been extra tough for him since it was a new class that he had just started before his trip.
Luckily, he found a favorite toy in the classroom. It’s the same microwave that Maya has at her house!!
Peanut spent all day in his new class today and has been adjusting well. There are some familiar faces from his old Butterfly class. They had transitioned to the Dolphin class earlier in the school year.
Peanut went to school on his birthday and we dropped off one of his favorite books to share with the classroom. Ms. Gladys read “Goodnight Goodnight Construction Site” to the class during circle time.
He also did some painting.
Yai picked up Peanut from school today and they had a fun time walking home.
Peanut has been spending a couple hours per day in his new classroom, which means he gets to play in a new playground too.
Peanut’s class has a picture schedule by the door and this is the one for “NAP”. Peanut pointed himself out in the photo.
Look at how he sleeps! No covers and hands behind his head. Funny guy.
This guy has a funny habit of peeing in this position. He does this to watch the pee go into toilet and not on his pants. Whatever works…
Love that Peanut gets to go for walks every week with his class. They look so cute in their giant blue t-shirts all lined up like ducklings.
